Dr. Karen Lewkowitz
Dr. Karen Lewkowitz is a leading Orthodontist. She is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists, member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and Past President of the Queens County Dental Society and Past Chairman of the National Children’s Dental Health Month for Queens County Dental Society. Dr. Lewkowitz is a graduate of Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine and went on to complete a two year Orthodontic Specialty at NYU’s College of Dentistry at the top of her class. She firmly believes that interceptive Orthodontics care for young children is very important. The American Association of Orthodontics feels that every child should get an orthodontic consultation between 7 and 8 years old. The reason for this is so we can fix a little problem before it becomes a big problem and thereby make room for your permanent teeth which may have had no room to come in the future. Interceptive orthodontics may avoid many years of full Orthodontic care.
Her services include palate expanders, habit breakers, full metal and clear braces, braces behind the teeth and Invisalign. Come meet Dr. Lewkowitz and see that her many years of experience, attention to detail and her warm chair side manner will delight you and your children.
When asked why she went into orthodontics she replied, “I want to do for others what Orthodontics did for me! It gave me a beautiful smile that changed my life forever!”
